To develop the dairy activities in Sri Lanka, the United States announced that a USD 21 million (LKR 3.15 billion) awarded by the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food for Progress program, to modernize and strengthen Sri Lanka’s dairy sector by increasing productivity and improving milk quality, financing, food safety, and trade.
