The Omanthai Army camp has not been removed but 18 acres of land belonging to the civllians has been handed over to the Vavuniya GA said Army Spokesman Brigadier RoshanSeniviratna. He made these comments today (18th Jan) addressing the cabinet press briefing. There was an issue handing over the lands belonging to the civilans of the area and as the Army cannot solve it the lands were handed over to the GA.Original Article
