President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon arrived in Sri Lanka yesterday on a three-day state visit.
He was received at the Bandaranaike International Airport by Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe.
The visiting Tajikistan leader is scheduled to hold discussions with President Maithripala Sirisena, Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe and Speaker Karu Jayasuriya.
He will also sign several agreements, visit Kandy, and meet the Sri Lankan business community.
