Registration of Recruitment Agencies/Companies in Dubai and Northern Emirates

Any company or manpower recruitment agency operating in Dubai or in the Northern Emirates of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) that intends to recruit employees from Sri Lanka is required to visit the Consulate General for registration. 

The registration will be processed only after a thorough verification of the credibility and legitimacy of the company or recruitment agency. Once approved, the agency’s/company’s details are entered into the Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment (SLBFE) information system for future reference and monitoring.

This registration is valid only for one year from the date of registration.

Renewal of Registration for Recruitment Agencies/Companies

Recruitment companies or agencies are required to renew their registration for recruiting Sri Lankan manpower upon the completion of one year from the date of initial or most recent registration.

As part of the renewal process, the Consulate General will evaluate the company’s or agency’s compliance with the terms and conditions outlined at the time of initial registration. Particular attention will be given to the level of cooperation extended to the Sri Lanka Consulate General and relevant Sri Lankan authorities in addressing grievances and welfare matters concerning Sri Lankan migrant workers.

Upon successful completion of all required formalities and compliance verification, the registration of the company/ recruitment agency will be renewed for the period of one year .
