2026 නව වසරට අප පා තබන්නේ රටක් ලෙස එදා මෙදා තුර විශාලතම ප්‍රතිසංස්කරණ ක්‍රියාවලිය සහ රට නැවත ගොඩනැගීමේ දැවැන්ත කාර්යභාරය දෙවුර දරා ගත් ජාතියක් ලෙසය. අභියෝග රැසක් මධ්‍යයේ වුවද, ගෙවුණු 2025 වසර ජාතික අභිලාෂ මත පදනම් වූ තිරසාර සංවර්ධනයේ අඩිතාලම සකස් කළ වසර විය. 1977න් පසු වාර්තා වූ අඩුම අයවැය හිඟය වාර්තා කිරීම, 2007 වසරට පසු මෙරට වැඩිම රාජ්‍ය ආදායම වාර්තා කිරීම, ඉතිහාසයේ ප්‍රථම වතාවට ප්‍රාථමික ගිණුමේ අතිරික්තයක් තබා ගැනීම, භාණ්ඩ සහ සේවා අපනයන ආදායම ඩොලර් බිලියන 17ක් ඉක්මවීම, මෙරට ඉතිහාසයේ රාජ්‍ය ආදායම් ඉලක්ක අභිබවා ගිය එකම වසර බවට පත් කිරීම සහ මෑත ඉතිහාසයේ සංචාරකයින් වැඩිම ප්‍රමාණයක් මෙරටට පැමිණි වසර බවට පත්වීම ආදිය මෙසේ 2025 වසරේ ළඟා කර ගත් සුවිශේෂී ආර්ථික ජයග්‍රහණ වේ. ලාංකීය පොදු මහ ජනතාවගේ දීර්ඝකාලීන අපේක්ෂාවක් වූ දූෂිත දේශපාලන ක්‍රමය වෙනුවට මහජනතාවට අවංකව සේවය කරන යහපත් දේශපාලන සංස්කෘතියක් රට තුළ නිර්මාණය කිරීම මෙන්ම අනාගත පරපුර විෂ මත්ද්‍රව්‍ය උවදුරින් මුදවා ගැනීමේ ‘රටම එකට’ ජාතික මෙහෙයුම වැනි වැඩසටහන් ක්‍රියාත්මක කිරීමෙන් 2025 වසර මෙරට දේශපාලන සහ සමාජ පරිවර්තනයක හැරවුම් වසරක් ලෙස සනිටුහන් වනු ඇත. මෙරට මෑතකාලීනව මුහුණ දුන් විශාලතම ස්වභාවික ව්‍යසනයක අභියෝගයටද අපි පසුගිය වසරේදී එක්ව මුහුණ දුන්නෙමු. එහිදී අප ජනතාව තුළ ඇති සහකම්පනීය මනුෂ්‍යත්වය කිසිදු ව්‍යසනයකට උදුරා ගත නොහැකි මහඟු ගුණාංගයක් බව මනාව සනාථ කරමින් රට පුරා ජනතාව විපතට පත් සිය සහෝදර ජනතාව සමඟ අත්වැල් බැඳගත්හ. මෙම අභියෝගයට මුහුණ දීමේදී සහාය දුන් විදෙස්ගත ශ්‍රී ලාංකිකයන් සහ යළි නැඟී සිටීමට මිතුරුකමේ සවිය සැපයූ ලොව සියලු මිත්‍ර රාජ්‍ය වෙතද, ආපදා තත්වය හමුවේ ස්වකීය දිවි නොතකා කටයුතු කළ පොලීසිය සහ ත්‍රිවිධ හමුදාව මෙන්ම, මෙරට රාජ්‍ය නිලධාරි යාන්ත්‍රණයද මෙහිලා කෘතවේදීව සිහිපත් කරමි. අප සැම එක්ව තව බොහෝ දුර යා යුතුව ඇත. ලෝක ඉතිහාසයේ බිඳවැටුණු සෑම රාජ්‍යයක්ම ගොඩනැඟීමේදී ප්‍රධානතම පිටුබලය වූයේ එම ජනතාවගේ අභිලාෂය සහ ධෛර්යයි. මගේ රටේ ආදරණීය පුරවැසියන්ගේ නොසැලෙන ධෛර්යයේ ශක්තිය හේතුවෙන් අප සැම එක්ව පැවතියාටත් වඩා යහපත් රටක් ගොඩනැගිය හැකි බව අපි ඒකාන්තයෙන්ම විශ්වාස කරන්නෙමු. නව වසරක උදාව අපට ගෙවී ගිය වසරේ අත්දැකීම් සමාලෝචනයට අවස්ථාව සලසා දෙන අතරම, නව වසර ගැන සුබවාදී ආකල්පවලින් යුතුව යළි සැලසුම් කරන්නට අවස්ථාවක් උදා කරයි. අප අභිමුව පවතින අභියෝග නිවැරදිව අවබෝධ කර ගනිමින් රට යළි ගොඩනැඟීමේ වැඩපිළිවෙළ සමඟ නොසැලෙන අදිටනින් සහ විශ්වාසයෙන් යුතුව සහෝදරත්වයෙන් අත්වැල් බැඳ ගැනීමට සියලු දෙනාට ආරාධනා කරමින්, උදා වූ 2026 නව වසර සියලු යහ-පැතුම් ඉටුවන ජයග්‍රාහී නව වසරක් වේවා’යි ශුභාශිංසනය කරමි. අනුර කුමාර දිසානායක ජනාධිපති ශ්‍රී ලංකා ප්‍රජාතාන්ත්‍රික සමාජවාදී ජනරජය 2026 ජනවාරි 01 දින மிகப்பெரிய மறுசீரமைப்புச் செயல்முறையையும், மீளக் கட்டியெழுப்பும் பாரிய பணியையும் தோள்மேல் சுமந்த நாடென்ற வகையில் நாம் 2026 ஆம் ஆண்டு புத்தாண்டில் கால்பதிக்கிறோம். பல்வேறு சவால்களுக்கு மத்தியிலும், கடந்த 2025 ஆம் ஆண்டு தேசிய அபிலாஷைகளை அடிப்படையாகக் கொண்ட நிலையான அபிவிருத்திக்காக அடித்தளமிடப்பட்ட ஆண்டாக அமைந்தது. 1977 ஆம் ஆண்டுக்குப் பிறகு மிகக் குறைந்த வரவு செலவுத்திட்ட பற்றாக்குறையைப் பதிவு செய்தல், 2007 ஆம் ஆண்டுக்குப் பிறகு நாட்டின் கூடுதலான அரச வருவாயை ஈட்டுதல், வரலாற்றில் முதல் முறையாக முதன்மை கணக்கு மிகையை பெற்றமை , பொருட்கள் மற்றும் சேவைகளின் ஏற்றுமதி வருவாயை சுமார் 17 பில்லியன் டொலர்களாக அதிகரித்தமை , எமது நாட்டு வரலாற்றில் அரச வருவாய் இலக்குகளை விஞ்சும் ஒரே ஆண்டாக 2025 ஆம் ஆண்டை மாற்றியமை மற்றும் அண்மைக் காலத்தில் சுற்றுலா பயணிகள் அதிகளவில் நாட்டிற்கு வருகை தந்த வருடமாக பதிவானமை போன்றன 2025 ஆம் ஆண்டில் அடையப்பட்ட குறிப்பிடத்தக்க பொருளாதார சாதனைகளாகும். இலங்கை மக்களின் நீண்டகால எதிர்பார்ப்பாக இருந்த ஊழல் நிறைந்த அரசியல் முறைமைக்கு பதிலாக பொதுமக்களுக்கு நேர்மையாக சேவை செய்யும் ஒரு சிறந்த அரசியல் கலாச்சாரத்தை நாட்டில் உருவாக்கவும் எதிர்கால சந்ததியினரை போதைப்பொருள் அச்சுறுத்தலில் இருந்து விடுவிப்பதற்கான ‘ முழு நாடுமே ஒன்றாக ‘ தேசிய செயற்பாட்டைப் போன்ற திட்டங்களை செயல்படுத்தவும் நடவடிக்கை எடுக்கப்பட்டதோடு இவை 2025 ஆம் ஆண்டு நாட்டின் அரசியல் மற்றும் சமூக மாற்றத்தில் ஒரு திருப்புமுனையான ஆண்டாக பதியப்படுகிறது. அண்மைக் காலங்களில் நாடு எதிர்கொண்ட மிகப்பெரிய இயற்கை பேரழிவின் சவாலை கடந்த ஆண்டு நாங்கள் ஒன்றாக எதிர்கொண்டோம். நமது மக்களிடையே உள்ள மனிதநேயப் பண்பானது எந்த பேரழிவினாலும் பறிக்க முடியாத ஒரு சிறந்த குணம் என்பதை தெளிவாக நிரூபித்ததோடு நாடு முழுவதும் உள்ள மக்கள் பாதிக்கப்பட்ட சகோதர மக்களின் துயரத்தில் கைகோர்த்தார்கள்.இந்தச் சவாலை எதிர்கொள்வதில் எங்களுக்கு ஆதரவளித்த வெளிநாடுகளில் உள்ள இலங்கையர்களுக்கும், மீளெழுச்சிக்கு நட்புறவின் பலத்தை வழங்கிய உலகெங்கிலும் உள்ள அனைத்து நட்பு நாடுகளுக்கும், அனர்த்த நிலையில் அயராது உழைத்த பொலிஸார் மற்றும் முப்படைகளுக்கும், இந்த நாட்டின் அரச உத்தியோகஸ்தர் களுக்கும் எனது நன்றியைத் தெரிவித்துக் கொள்கிறேன். நாம் ஒன்றாக, இன்னும் நீண்ட தூரம் பயணிக்க வேண்டியுள்ளது. உலக வரலாற்றில் வீழ்ச்சியடைந்த ஒவ்வொரு நாட்டையும் கட்டியெழுப்புவதில் அந்த மக்களின் இலட்சியமும் தைரியமும் பக்கபலமாக இருந்தது. நமது அன்பான பிரஜைகளின் அசைக்க முடியாத தைரியத்தின் பலனால், நாம் முன்பு இருந்ததை விட சிறந்த நாட்டை மீண்டும் கட்டியெழுப்ப முடியும் என்று உறுதியாக நம்புகிறோம். புத்தாண்டு வருகை கடந்த ஆண்டின் அனுபவங்களை மீள்பரிசீலனை செய்வதற்கு வாய்ப்பு அளிப்பதோடு, புத்தாண்டு தொடர்பில் சாதகமான மனப்பாங்குகளுடன் மீள திட்டமிடுவதற்கும் ஒரு சந்தர்ப்பத்தை வழங்குகிறது. நாட்டை மீண்டும் கட்டியெழுப்புவதற்கான திட்டத்தில் அசைக்க முடியாத உறுதியுடனும் நம்பிக்கையுடனும் சகோதரத்துவத்துடன் கைகோர்க்க அனைவரையும் நான் அழைப்பு விடுகிறேன். மலர்ந்த 2026 புத்தாண்டு உங்கள் அனைவரினதும் எதிர்பார்ப்புகள் நிறைவேறும் வெற்றிகரமான புத்தாண்டாக அமைய வாழ்த்துகிறேன். reconstruction effort in our modern history. Despite numerous challenges, the year 2025 laid the foundation for sustainable development rooted in our national aspirations. Among the significant economic achievements of the past year were the recording of the lowest budget deficit since 1977, the highest government revenue since 2007, the first-ever primary account surplus in our history, an increase in export earnings from goods and services to nearly USD 17 billion, the achievement of government revenue targets at a level never before surpassed and it was a year that marked the highest tourist arrivals to the country. These milestones make 2025 a truly exceptional year in Sri Lanka’s economic journey. Equally important, 2025 will be remembered as a turning point in the country’s political and social transformation. The implementation of programmes such as the creation of a clean and people-centred political culture, replacing long-entrenched corrupt practices and the countrywide “A Nation United” mission to protect our future generations from the scourge of narcotic drugs, reflected the long-held aspirations of the Sri Lankan people. This year also saw us confronting one of the most severe natural disasters in our recent history. In the face of this adversity, our people across the country stood shoulder to shoulder with their fellow citizens, proving that the compassion and humanity of our nation cannot be snuffed by any calamity. I wish to place on record my deep gratitude to Sri Lankans living overseas, to all friendly nations that extended their support during this difficult time, and to the Police, the Tri-Forces and the entire state service who worked selflessly, often at great personal risk, in responding to the disaster. We still have a long journey ahead, but we will walk it together. History teaches us that the greatest strength behind the rebuilding of every fallen nation has been the courage and determination of its people. I firmly believe that, with the unyielding resolve of our beloved citizens, we can collectively recreate a country far better than the one we inherited. The dawn of a new year offers us an opportunity to reflect on the lessons of the past while planning afresh with optimism for the future. Understanding clearly the challenges that lie before us, I invite all of you to join hands in unity, determination and confidence in the task of rebuilding our nation.
