21st Asian U20 Athletics Championships in Dubai
A total of 17 Sri Lankan athletes are competing at the Asian U20 Athletics Championships 2024 in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates, which began on Wednesday 24 April 2024.
Dubai is hosting the 21st Asian Athletics Championships Under 20 for the first time. The event is organised by the UAE Athletics Federation and the Asian Athletics Association in collaboration with Dubai Police, the General Authority for Sports, and the Dubai Sports Council.
This event has drawn over 1,300 participants from across 45 countries in Asia.
The Asian U20 Athletics Championships 2024 is also a qualifying event for the World U20 Athletics Championships in August 2024, which will be held in Lima, Peru
