CHANGE THE PROFESSION IN THE PASSPORT

Change the Profession in the Passport
  1. No Objection letter from the company (letter should be submitted with the company letterhead) mentioning the new designation on it.
  2. Duly filled Application Form [Download Application Form “E” Below]
  3. Original Passport
  4. Request from the person concerned to change the Profession in the Passport.

Note that now you can do the payments in Cash or Credit/Debit Cards

Please note that the applicant should be presented to submit the application

2 Weeks

1. Application should be filled preferably in BLOCK letters
You can submit the application to the consular division of the Consulate General by hand. The Consular Division is open from Monday to Friday (8.30 am to 1.00 pm).

THE CHANGE WILL BE ENDORSED ONLY AFTER THE APPROVAL OF THE CONTROLLER GENERAL IMMIGRATION & EMIGRATION COLOMBO SUBJECT TO THE SUBMISSION OF THE RELEVANT DOCUMENT.

* I.E. DEGREE CERTIFICATE AND THE NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE.
