The re-docking of Navy's second Advanced Offshore Patrol Vessel (AOPV), which was unslipped on 15th December 2016 was held at the Goa Shipyard Limited on Friday (16th December 2016).

Deputy Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Navy and Commandant of the Volunteer Naval Force, Rear Admiral Neil Rosayro inaugurated the re-docking.

According to navy media, new AOPV is expected to be named 'SLNS Sindurala' and is equipped with modern technological features.
