Minister of Health Nutrition and Indigenous Medicine Rajitha Senarathne, said that the Gazette on reducing prices of 47 drug species will be issued this week.
According to Minister Senarathne, National Drug Regulation Board under the first phase would take steps to reduce the price of these drugs, which are used for high blood pressure, and diabetes etc.
Minister further explaining the situations that could occur with the reduction of prices said that he was ready to face any drug shortage, created by companies.
