Sri Lanka Police has introduced two contact numbers 076 – 6 224 949 and 076 – 6 226 363 for the people in the North to make their complaints and emergency messages using their own language.
This is implemented according to a concept of IGP Pujith Jayasundara, parallel to the 150th anniversary celebration of Sri Lanka Police.
The initiative themed "Peace, Co-existence, Reconciliation, and Communication" will facilitate the people in Jaffna, Vavuniya, Mannar, Kilinochchi, Mulathivu, and Kankasanturai.
This has been established at the operating unit of the DIG office of the Vavuniya.
