The Consulate General of Sri Lanka in Dubai is organizing an official function to celebrate the 72nd Anniversary of Sri Lanka’s Independence at 9.00 am on Tuesday 04th February 2020 at the Consulate General premises.
- Hoisting the National Flag
- Singing the National Anthe
- Observing two-minute silence in memory of National Heroes who sacrificed their lives for the country
- Multi-faith religious observances
- Lighting the traditional oil lamp
- Reading the messages of His Excellency the President, Hon. Prime Minister and the Hon. Minister of Foreign Relations
- Address of the Consul General
The function will be followed by light traditional Sri Lankan refreshments.
