Commemorating the great service rendered to the nation by the proud war heroes, the "Nalanda Ranaviru Upahara" – 2016 (Tribute to war heroes) will be held on 28th July at the Nalanda college in Colombo.
Organized by the Junior Old Boys' Association (NJOBA), the Nalanda college conducts the commemoration ceremony for the 15th consecutive year with the aim of providing comfort and solace to the kith and kin of demised war heroes.
The "Nalanda Ranaviru Upahara" will pay tribute and invoke merits and blessings on war heroes, who brought the freedom to the nation through immense sacrifice and extraordinary dedication.
